BVSCA meetings are normally held on the fourth Monday of every month at various locations throughout the neighborhood. Check the agenda for specific meeting location. In 2023 we expect meetings to continue by Zoom due to COVID-19.

Treasurer’s Report

Our Treasurer, Giang Dang, will give us a brief on our financial situation and membership numbers.

As a reminder, please renew – or join – BVSCA on our membership page. Dues for the 2023-2024 Membership Year (only $10!) are currently being collected.

Our representative to Ballston BID, Allyson Ugarte, will share news from Ballston BID.

Arlington Civic Federation (CivFed)

Hear the latest news from BVSCA’s representatives to  CivFed, Sharon Valencia, Nick Klissas, Ken Hughes,and Robbie Woodsor.

Arlington Neighborhoods Program (ANP) / Arlington Neighborhoods Advisory Committee (ArNAC)

Ken Hughes, our ArNAC representative, will provide an update.

Meeting Date Changes for April and May 2024

Jim Rosen will highlight a change to our Fourth-Monday-of-the-Month meeting schedule for April and May 2024. The new days are:

– May 13

Special GLUP Plus Studies Letter

In our November 2023 meeting, the membership tasked the Executive Committee with exploring the Lyon Village Civic Association’s request to sign on to a joint letter relating to special GLUP changes proposed for the Clarendon Sector Plan.

Jim Rosen will update us on the outcome of that exploration and BVSCA’s position with the County regarding the use of Special GLUP Plus studies.

Ballston Sector Plan Update

Jim Rosen will brief us on the status of efforts to advocate for updating the Ballston Sector Plan.
